Muhammadu D. Abubakar

President of Commercial Dairy Ranchers Association of Nigeria (CODARAN)

M.D. Abubakar is a former banker with over a decade’s experience in development and commercial banking. He is a successful Dairy Farmer. He is the President of Commercial Dairy Ranchers Association of Nigeria (CODARAN), the umbrella body of the indigenous dairy farmers in the country. He has chaired boards of various federal institutions in the past years and pioneered the setting up of various government agricultural projects. He has been a member of numerous federal and state government committees on repositioning the agricultural Sector and financing same.

M.D. Abubakar is a former Chairman of the Nigeria Poultry Association, Kano State Branch. He is an Executive Leadership Member of the Nigeria Agribusiness Group (NABG). He is an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained his B.Sc in Glass Technology, MSc in International Affairs and Diplomacy, and an MBA from Lagos State University.

Chairman, Board of Trustees of Agricultural Traders Welfare Association (ATWA)

Otunba Ogunsanya has been engaged in farming and agro processing for over six decades. His main investments have been in cocoa, cashew, oil palm plantations, livestock production/rearing, product processing and marketing. Otunba Ogunsanya has represented Nigeria at several agricultural conferences, meetings, events, trade-fairs, negotiations, etc. while interfacing with other practitioners around the world.

He is a former Chairman of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), and the founder of the Tropical Cattle Ranch and Agro Allied Industries Limited. He is also chairman or member of several commodity associations’ Board of Trustees. He is a member of Board of Trustees of Commercial Dairy Ranchers Association of Nigeria (CODARAN) and National Groundnut Producers, Processors and Marketers Association of Nigeria (NGROPPMAN), amongst others. He is currently the Chairman, Board of Trustees of Agricultural Traders Welfare Association (ATWA) and pioneer National President of National Fish Association of Nigeria (NFAN).

His interest in capacity building and transfer of knowledge in agribusiness motivated him to found a world-class College of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Technology, located at Emiola Village, Osun State, Nigeria. Otunba Ogunsanya currently serves as Life Patron of the South West Farmers Association of Nigeria (SWEFAN) with over 25,000 strong membership including women and youths.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Abimbola Daniyan Integrated Farms

Engr. Abimbola Daniyan is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Abimbola Daniyan Integrated Farms in Osun State, Nigeria. He is also the Chairman of Alpharosso Consulting Limited. Engr. Daniyan worked as Mechanical Engineer & Project Engineer, Nigerian Bag Manufacturing Co. Ltd and Jetty Engineer, Eurotrade Cement Works, Abuloma Jetty, Port Harcourt. He also worked as Production Engineer at Nigerian-Swiss Quarrying & Construction Co. Ltd, Aredi-Mamu, Ogun State.

Engr. Daniyan has been involved in several consulting and training projects as well as several board membership assignments, such as Chairman, Osun State Tourism Board, Chairman, Osun Solar Power Facilities Committee and Member, Osun State Tertiary Institutions Repositioning Committee, among others. He also served as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Osun State on Tourism between 2013 – 2014.

Engr Daniyan is the General Secretary of the Commercial Dairy Ranchers Association of Nigeria CODARAN and serves as Member of the Administrative Board of the Nigeria Agribusiness Group (NABG).

He holds a HND in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic, Ibadan and is a Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) registered engineer. He is a Fellow of the National Association of Technical Engineers (FNATE) and has won several awards including the Distinguished Alumnus Award of the Polytechnic, Ibadan in 1997.

Founder of the Hardo Bamboro Dairy Farm Limited

A PhD holder, Aliyu Usman Tilde hails from Tilden Fulani, Toro Local Government Area, Bauchi State. Described as an agronomist, academic, educationist, farmer, writer, poet, activist and a community leader of over 37 years’ experience, Tilde has played significant roles in establishing and creating access to formal education for out of school children in his village. Dr Tilde is the founder of the Hardo Bamboro Dairy Farm Limited in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State. He is a member of the Board of trustees of the Commercial Dairy Ranchers Association of Nigeria (CODARAN).

Dr Tilde has been Commissioner of Education in Bauchi State and one of the pioneers of Bauchi State University, Gadau.

Sheyin Shekarri

Sheyin Shekarri

Managing Director of Integrated Dairies Ltd

Sheyin Shekarri is the Managing Director of the renowned Integrated Dairies Ltd. He is a multidisciplinary creative whose sustainable approach and methods are carried across his various areas of expertise.

Despite Sheyin’s accounting background, he has served in various capacities in a wide range of other industries, some of which include real estate, finance, security, fishing, entertainment, and communications. Mr Shekarri is the National Treasurer of the Commercial Dairy Ranchers Association of Nigeria (CODARAN).

He has a keen interest for new technologies, healthy living, and spends his free time researching the same.

Dianabasi Akpainyang

Executive Director of Commercial Dairy Ranchers Association of Nigeria (CODARAN)

Dianabasi Akpainyang is a seasoned administrator and relationship management professional with a track record of leading positive change and creating value by mobilizing membership organisations to transform communities.

Dianabasi started his career in banking operations at Ecobank Nigeria Plc, working in the Customer Service and Funds Transfer units and rising to the position of branch operations manager before leaving the bank in 2007 for further studies. He later joined Lagos Business School where he worked as Alumni Relations Administrator for several years. In that role, Dianabasi served as relationship manager for various alumni groups, mobilizing LBS Alumni to engage in charitable activities targeted at the most vulnerable groups within Nigerian communities. He also served as production manager for the widely read alumni magazine of Lagos Business School – Footprints, creating an outstanding brand, famous with advertisers in Nigeria’s business community. He was involved in the organisation and hosting of several high-profile events including national and regional dinners, conferences and international study trips.

In 2019, Dianabasi joined Olashore International School as Director, Alumni Relations, creating a leadership and governance structure for the School’s Alumni Association for the first time in 25 years. He jointly held the position of Executive Secretary of the OISA Foundation – the charitable arm of Olashore International School. There, he played a major part in the strides achieved by the Foundation in providing scholarships for indigent children and advocating for better funding for education to take indigent children off the streets and into schools.

Dianabasi currently serves as Executive Director at the Commercial Dairy Ranchers Association of Nigeria where he provides strategic leadership and mobilizes resources to achieve the noble mission and objectives of promoting quality nutritious dairy products across Africa made from local resources.

He holds a BA Hons degree in English and Literary Studies from the University of Calabar, Nigeria and an MSc in Management from Kent Business School, University of Kent at Canterbury, England. He is an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
